Binus University Psychology Lecturer Wins Best Paper Award at COSITE 2025 in Banda Aceh
Banda Aceh, Indonesia — December 3–4, 2025.
Dr. Muhamad Nanang Suprayogi, a faculty member of the Psychology Department at Binus University, proudly represented the university at the International Conference on Computer System, Information Technology, and Electrical Engineering (COSITE) 2025, an international academic forum bringing together researchers and practitioners across disciplines.
During the conference, Dr. Suprayogi presented two research papers reflecting his ongoing scholarly contributions in the field of educational technology and inclusive pedagogy. The papers, titled “Teacher Well-being in Implementing the Educational Technologies: A Systematic Literature Review” and “Mapping Scientific Research on Differentiated Instruction Implementation in Inclusive Education,” generated strong interest among attendees for their relevance to current educational challenges.
Both studies highlighted urgent issues faced by educators in today’s digital learning environment, including the psychological demands placed on teachers and the need for evidence-based strategies to implement Differentiated Instruction effectively. Dr. Suprayogi emphasized the crucial role of research-based practices in improving teacher readiness and strengthening inclusive education systems.
Despite the challenging situation in Banda Aceh, which was experiencing the impact of severe flooding—causing disruptions in electricity, fuel supply, and basic necessities—the conference proceeded smoothly. The organizing committee successfully mitigated logistical obstacles, ensuring that all sessions continued without major interruption.
A moment of great pride came when the paper “Teacher Well-being in Implementing the Educational Technologies: A Systematic Literature Review” was selected as the Best Paper in the Interdisciplinary Topics track. This recognition is documented in the official certificate issued by the COSITE 2025 committee.
The award reflects the strong scholarly impact of the research, particularly its contribution to understanding how educators adapt to technological demands while maintaining psychological well-being. Co-authored with Suwarno and Juni Wulandari, the paper was commended for its rigorous analysis and significance to global educational discourse.
Dr. Suprayogi’s achievements at COSITE 2025 further strengthen Binus University’s reputation in international academic research and serve as an inspiration for students and faculty members to continue producing impactful and globally relevant scholarship.
