Jakarta, 5/06/2024 – BINUS University has achieved an important achievement by being ranked #951-1000 worldwide and among the top 10 universities in Indonesia in the 2025 Quacquarelli Symons World University Rankings (QS WUR). BINUS is also the only university currently holding the prestigious title of 5-star among selected universities in Indonesia.

This year’s ranking is the most comprehensive to date, featuring more than 1,500 universities from 105 higher education systems. The broad scope of this year’s QS WUR highlights the increasingly growing competition and high standards of education globally.

In 2025, the QS WUR evaluation has undergone its most comprehensive refurbish to date, with the introduction of three new measurement metrics: Sustainability (5%), Employment Outcomes (5%), and International Research Network (5%). These are in addition to already rigorous measurement metrics: Academic Reputation (30%), Employer Reputation (15%), Faculty-Student Ratio (10%), Citations per Faculty (20%), International Faculty (5%), and International Students (5%).
